Are you ready for screwpull wine opener? As the venerable “Mousetrap”, someone is always trying to make a better one, and Metrokane is the winner with a knife wine Houdini. Also referred to as a lever, a knife, wine bottle Houdini model makes the task so easy, even a “caveman” could do it. Name Metrokane gained recognition among fans of wines with its famous rabbit model lever, and now they follow that with their less expensive models – Houdini.
Just like its more expensive big brother, the rabbit, Houdini wine opener uses a pair of handles to hold hands on a bottle of wine, and the lever action of the fault to pierce the cork and pull it out of the bottle. It does this safely and securely with a simple pull and push the lever. No more fighting for the center of a spin response, or twisting and pulling to extract the cork. And much less likely to spill wine.
To use Houdini, just use wine foil cutter to remove the foil. Then put Houdini neck bottle of wine and a pen “Rabbit ear” handles to keep in a bottle. Pull the lever, and this reduces the Teflon-coated corkscrew into the cork, then push the lever back, and it pulls the cork from the bottle. It is much easier than curling up and the traditional T-shaped handle corkscrew. And even better than twisting and curious method corkscrew waiters. To extract the cork, simply pull the lever to expose it and remove it from the corkscrew worm.
